Haas, the youngest team on the grid, debuted in 2016 and quickly made waves as the first American-led Formula One team in more than three decades. They were founded by businessman Gene Haas and have their headquarters in the same building in Kannapolis, North Carolina as his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title-winning team, Stewart-Haas Racing. The flamboyant Guenther Steiner is in charge of the Ferrari-powered team, which also has a facility in Banbury, United Kingdom.

2020
