    Romain Grosjean, a dual Swiss and French national, started his career in karting, like many other drivers. Although he started racing quite late – at the age of 14 – it didn’t stop him from climbing the career ladder and making his Formula 1 debut in 2009.

    2003: Swiss Formula Renault 1.6 champion;

    2004-05. 2005-05 : French Formula Renault – 2005 champion, also competed in the Formula Renault European Cup;

    2006-07 : European Formula 3 – 2007 champion;

    2008 : GP2 Asian Series – champion;

    2009. : GP2 – before switching to Formula One, he finished second in the GP2 championship for Renault.

    The same year Grosjean made his debut in the F-1 championship. After only a few races, the Frenchman failed to impress.

    2011

    After a two-year break, Grosjean returned to Formula One. However, he was still a test driver for the Lotus team.

    2012

    Grosjean is back in racing. The Frenchman shows a high pace, but makes many mistakes and has an aggressive driving style. Nevertheless, he manages to score 96 points and finishes 8th in the overall standings.

    2013

    The athlete has a slow start to the year, but picks up momentum in the second part of the season and takes one prize after another. Grosjean scores a total of 132 points and finishes 7th in the final standings.
    2014

    After a great season, Lotus’ form in 2014 is slipping downwards and the Frenchman is no longer able to challenge for top positions. He is only 14th in the overall standings.

    2015

    Grosjean has had a slightly better season than last year, scoring 49 points and finishing 11th in the championship.

    2016

    Grosjean signs with Haas, his debut team in Formula One.
