    Earlier than making his Formulation One debut, Mr Wehrlein competed within the ADAC Formulation Masters, Formulation 3 Euro Sequence, FIA European F3 Championship and DTM.

    In 2011, the German gained the ADAC Formulation Masters title and in 2015 he gained the DTM championship.

    From 2014 to 2015, he was a reserve driver for Mercedes and Drive India.

    The 22-year-old makes his Formulation One debut for the Manor staff.
