    Jerome d’Ambrosio raced sporadically from 1995 to 2002, winning the Belgian championship and the Formula A World Cup three times.

    In 2003, the Belgian won the Formula-Renault Championship in his country. The following year, he moved on to the similar French championship, where he finished fourth.

    D’Ambrosio also finished fourth in the 2005 Italian F-3 Championship. In 2006, he entered the World Series by Renault, but retired from the series after four rounds without scoring a point. In 2007, he won the Formula-Master championship.

    2008-2010 J. d’Ambrosio competed in the GP2 championship. His best year was 2009, when the Belgian finished ninth in the final standings. Last year, he scored one win but finished 12th in the championship.

    In 2011, d’Ambrosio makes his Formula One debut, driving for one of the outsiders, Virgin.
